Safer Bathrooms

Grab bars, seats, hand-held showers and comfort-height toilets.

Worry-Free Plan

Quarterly visits for batteries, filters, safety checks and small repairs.

Most seniors want to stay in their own homes as long as they can. The biggest threat to that is usually a fall, and most falls happen in the bathroom, on stairs or on the way to the bathroom at night.

The good news is that the fixes are usually simple, affordable and done in a day or two. A sturdy grab bar, a second handrail and better lighting can make a home dramatically safer without making it look like a hospital.

Common aging-in-place upgrades

Grab bars in tubs and showers
Stair and entry handrails
Lever door handles
Brighter lights and night lights
Non-slip floors and tubs
Shower and raised toilet seats
Hand-held shower heads
Removing trip hazards
Lower shelves and closet rods
Smoke and CO detectors

Our aging-in-place process

Free walk-through
We walk through the home together and note loose rugs, dark stairs, slick tubs and hard-to-turn knobs.
Written plan with prices
You get a simple list of fixes, most important first, with a price for each. No pressure.
Installed right
Grab bars go into studs or proper anchors, rails are solid, and we clean up before we leave.
Ongoing check-ins
Add a maintenance plan and we come back each season to check batteries, filters and the small stuff.

A fresh set of eyes catches things you stop noticing when you live with them every day: the rug that curls, the dim stairway, the tub with nothing to hold onto.

We look at the home the way a person with weaker balance, eyesight or grip would move through it, and we point out what would help most.

What happens during the visit

We talk first
What's getting harder? Stairs, the shower, getting up at night? We start with what matters to you.
Room-by-room check

You decide

Small problems in rentals grow fast because tenants often don't report them. A seasonal visit catches the slow drip, the failing caulk and the dead smoke detector before they turn into water damage or a liability.

Each visit includes

Smoke and CO detector test
HVAC filter change
Check under sinks for leaks
Caulk and grout touch-ups

Don't see your town? Call or text and ask.

How fast can you come out?

Most estimates go out within 24 hours. Small repairs can often be scheduled the same week.

Is the home safety walk-through really free?

Yes. We walk through the home, point out risks and leave a written list with prices. You decide what, if anything, to fix.

Do you work with property management companies?

Yes. We handle turnovers, work orders and punch lists, and send before-and-after photos with every invoice.

What does the water test involve?

We test your tap water right at the sink in about 30 minutes, explain the results and show you the options. There's no obligation.

Is there a minimum charge?

Yes, a small minimum covers the trip for very short jobs. Bundle a few small items into one visit to get the most out of it.

Do you do electrical and plumbing?

We handle minor fixture swaps and repairs. Work that requires a licensed electrician or plumber is done by licensed trade partners, and we'll tell you up front.

Do you buy the materials?

We can pick up everything for the job, or use materials you already have. Materials are listed separately on your quote.

Can you help after a storm?

Yes. After a storm we help with fence and gate repair, debris haul-off, screen and soffit repairs and getting your home back in shape.

How do I pay?

You'll get an invoice by text or email after the job, and you can pay by card or bank transfer.

Can family members set up service for a parent?

Absolutely. We'll keep you updated by text with photos after each visit.
